A Sure Foundation
I think I took these pictures on Thursday, December 1, when the first part of our foundation was poured. I didn't see it happen, and everything was covered by time I got to the lot, but I wanted to take a picture to remember the occassion because a foundation is a very important thing!
And now, my sons, remember, remember that it is upon the rock of our Redeemer, who is Christ, the Son of God, that ye must build your foundation; that when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall.
I'm grateful for the effort that was put into creating a sure foundation for our new house. Even more so, I'm grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ, our Rock, upon whom we will build our foundation for our new home. We are striving to build our personal foundations upon Him, as we know that He is the surest foundation of all.
